Product
06 · Materials, sizing, what’s insideDoes the ZPACK fit my brand of pouches?
Yes — the can is sized for the standard puck format, so it fits most nicotine (Zyn, On!, Lucy, Velo and others), energy, and nootropic pouches on the market. Oversized “long stick” big-can formats don’t fit.
If your brand isn’t an obvious standard-size puck, email us and we’ll confirm fit.
What’s it actually made of?
The body is one solid piece of 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, milled from a single billet on a CNC lathe. The finish is a Type II hard-anodize — it isn’t paint, it’s an oxide layer grown into the metal itself, so it won’t chip or peel.
Inside the lid: twelve N52 neodymium magnets seated in machined pockets. That’s the whole part list. No gaskets, no o-rings, no plastic, no consumables.
How much does it weigh?
2.7 oz (about 77 g) empty. Heavier than the plastic puck on purpose — it’s solid machined aluminum, and you can feel it. You want the weight; it’s part of why the snap and the build feel like they do.
Loaded with pouches inside, it lands closer to 3.1 oz (88 g). A presence in your pocket, not a brick.
What finishes are available?
Seven current finishes — all hard-anodized and colorfast under salt-spray testing:
- Black — deep flat matte
- Gunmetal Gray — warm graphite, our most popular
- Frosted Silver — brushed cool tone
- Electric Blue — saturated cobalt
- Forest Green — deep evergreen
- Blazing Red — high-saturation crimson
- Ridge Brown — warm earth, patinas beautifully
We drop limited finishes a few times a year. Newsletter subscribers get first access.
How loud is the snap?
Quieter than a Zippo, louder than a click pen. We measured peak snap at 1.8 newtons — sharp enough to feel through denim, soft enough not to embarrass you in a meeting.
If you want to demo it, opening it next to your ear sounds about like clicking the side button on an old iPhone. That’s intentional.
Is the magnet strong enough that it won’t pop open in my pocket?
Yes. The twelve N52 setup holds about 4× the force needed to keep the lid sealed under normal pocket movement, including sprinting and sitting hard in a truck cab. We do not recommend storing it next to a hard drive or a credit card you care about.
Shipping
04 · Timing, cost, internationalHow fast does it ship?
Every order goes out within 1–2 business days of being placed. Tracking lands in your inbox the moment the label prints.
How long until it gets to me?
Once the order is out the door, U.S. delivery is typically 3–7 business days, depending on where you are. Combined with our 1–2 day fulfillment window, most customers see their can within a week of ordering.
How much is shipping?
Free U.S. shipping on every order over $40. Below that, standard ground is a flat rate — calculated at checkout, never marked up. Expedited options are available at cost.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We’re U.S.-only for now. International is on the roadmap — join the newsletter to be the first to hear when we open up to your country.
Warranty & Returns
03 · Lifetime guarantee, returns, replacementsWhat does ‘lifetime guarantee’ actually mean?
It’s a real lifetime guarantee. If your Upper Decky stops doing its job because of a manufacturing or material defect — cracked, snap gone soft, magnet failed, finish lifting on its own — we’ll replace it. For life.
The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear (light scratches, patina, gradual finish softening from years of daily pocket time) or negligible cosmetic damage. It also doesn’t cover loss, theft, or willful destruction — if you ran it over, we can’t help you (although we’d love to hear the story).
To activate coverage, you’ll need to register your can first — it takes under a minute. From there, claims are handled by email at service@zpack.co.
What if I just don’t like it?
14-day returns, no restocking fee. Email orders@zpack.co within 14 days of delivery and we’ll get you a return label. Refunds land back on your original payment method within 10 business days of us receiving the can.
If you do like it, the lifetime guarantee picks up from there.
How do I file a warranty claim?
One email. Send a photo of the can plus a sentence about what’s wrong to service@zpack.co. A real person on our team will reply within one business day with next steps.
If you’ve registered your can, we already have your order on file and the claim usually clears same-day.
Care
03 · Cleaning, patina, longevityHow do I clean it?
Rinse the inside under warm water, wipe with a microfiber. Skip the dishwasher — the heat won’t hurt the metal, but it can dull the finish over time. For deep cleans, a drop of dish soap and a soft brush works fine. Let it air dry with the lid open before reloading.
Will the anodize fade?
Not in normal use. Type II hard-anodize is rated for 40 hours of continuous salt-spray exposure without color shift — that’s a lot of beach days. Some heavy carriers report a subtle patina around the bevel after 12–18 months of daily pocket time, which we (and they) find handsome.
Is it dishwasher / microwave safe?
No on both counts. The dishwasher’s heat and detergent will damage the anodized finish over time — hand-wash only. The microwave is, fundamentally, no place for a solid aluminum can; please don’t.
Orders & Payment
03 · Cards, codes, changesWhat payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major cards plus all the modern wallets:
- Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover
- Apple Pay, Google Pay
- Shop Pay (and Shop Pay Installments)
- Buy with Prime
- PayPal
Shop Pay Installments lets you split your order into four payments. We don’t tack on any installment fees.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If we haven’t printed the shipping label yet, yes — email orders@zpack.co ASAP and we’ll catch it. Our fulfillment window is 1–2 business days, so usually we can grab it. After the label prints, just use the 14-day return.
Do you offer discounts?
The 2-pack and 4-pack include built-in volume discounts — the bigger the pack, the lower the per-can price. We also drop occasional promotions for newsletter subscribers and run an ambassador program with its own discount code if you’d like to share Zpack with your audience.
Company
03 · Who we are, where we make itWhere is Upper Decky made?
Designed in Wyoming. Custom engravings done by hand in NYC. Every detail — the bevel, the magnet seat, the anodize colors, the snap force — was developed and signed off in Wyoming. If you order a custom engraving, your can gets cut on a laser bed in a small shop in New York City before it ships.
Who’s behind Zpack?
A small team of four: Marty (founder), Remy (design), Hunter (operations), and Michael (growth). No agency, no offshore support desk — every email you send lands with one of us.
Are you working on other products?
Yes. We pick one fight at a time. The next product is on the shop bench right now — we’ll announce it when V1 holds up to 90 days of daily carry. Newsletter subscribers get the first email.
Talk to a real person.
Every email lands in an inbox that one of the four of us actually reads. No bots, no ticket queues, no “your inquiry is important to us.” Most replies go out within a single business day.
